Mobile Consulate Visit to Manchester

The Consulate General of Algeria in London informs Algerian citizens residing in Manchester and the surrounding counties that a mobile consulate will be organised in the city of Manchester on Sunday, 26 April 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the following venue:

Holiday Inn Manchester – 25 Aytoun Street, Manchester, M1 3DT

During this day, a range of consular services will be provided at the same location.

Citizens wishing to renew their biometric passport or apply for one for the first time are invited to send a complete application file in advance by post, no later than 22 April 2026, including the following documents:

  • A completed and signed application form (signed by the applicant or the legal guardian in the case of minors), available for download from the Consulate General’s website: http://www.algerian-consulate.org.uk
  • Consular registration card
  • Proof of residence and nationality
  • Expired passport

Passport fees must be paid in cash or by postal order.

Fees:

Adults:

  • Ordinary passport (28 pages): £55
  • Ordinary passport (48 pages): £82.50

Minors:

  • Ordinary passport (28 pages): £27.50
  • Ordinary passport (48 pages): £55

Additional fee in case of loss or damage:

  • Adults: £100
  • Minors: £50

On this occasion, all questions related to consular services can also be addressed.

Important notes:

  • Minors aged 12 and above must be physically present to apply for or renew a biometric passport.
  • Children under 12 are not required to attend; however, the application must be submitted by a legal guardian. In this case, submitted photographs must comply with ICAO standards.
  • Appointments will be scheduled for applicants to complete biometric procedures (fingerprints, photograph, and electronic signature). These appointments must be respected.
  • Biometric data (fingerprints and photographs) cannot be collected unless the application file has been submitted in advance to the Consulate General.

  • Collection of passports and/or biometric national identity cards (please provide the file number shown on the receipt)

  • Document authentication, issuance of powers of attorney (a valid Algerian passport or national ID card must be presented), and parental travel authorisations
